I was lucky enough to attend Daniels first retreat in beautiful Hakuba Japan . We stayed in a newly renovated Japanese chalet set in the Echoland forest . The house is beautiful and very comfortable for couples and singles. We ate Daniel incredible food ,hiked ,did yoga ,swam in the crystal clear lake and meditated beneath the mountains . Daniel taught us how to enrich our lives with mindfulness and gave us tools to live  more mindful life’s. A highlight of the retreat was meeting the other participants . Each person bought something special to the retreat. I can’t recommend Daniel and his retreats enough . A magic mix of great knowledge , people ,food and environment . Thanks Daniel

Geoff and I were so fortunate to share in Daniel’s first Hakuba retreat in beautiful Japan. The panoramic beauty of the country setting was simply breath taking. The diverse wholefood menu of meals were delicious and prepared with love by Daniel. The soulful blend of people that were brought together to share in the experience was just perfect and with each one ,we now regard as a special friend. The hiking , yoga sessions ,meditation , delectable food , new friendships and of course our wonderful host Daniel ,made it a memorable retreat, one we will always remember and be infinitely grateful for having experience it.

I attended the retreat in gorgeous Hakuba Japan with Daniel Cerny this year and feel so blessed to have had such a magical experience that I will cherish forever. The scenery was so beautiful and picturesque, making for the perfect setting to unwind, relax and rejuvenate. I was fortunate to be in the company of wonderful like-minded people, who shared their stories and gifted me with their wisdom.

I cannot speak more highly of our host and wellness coach Daniel Cerny – His teachings on nutrition and mindfulness inspired me to lead a more heartfull, healthy and fulfilled life, and to be in the moment. Daniel’s holistic vegan cooking was amazing, the best Japanese style cuisine I have ever tasted. I also greatly enjoyed the walks on the mountains, yoga by the waterfalls and the daily meditation exercises.

I highly recommend the experience to anyone that wishes to change their life for the better.

It’s perfect period of time (48 hrs) to unwind and tap into the benefits of being mindful on a daily basis. Daniel is warm and personable, a lot of little touches makes for a special and relaxing time to unwind with like minded people. Venue – gorgeous yet homely and nurturing. Food – plentiful and so delicious.   Enjoyed the amount of free/down time.  Daniel adds many small details and touches to the weekend that it’s easy to unwind and relax. As busy people, often with families to look after, it’s a great opportunity to do something for yourself. Your mind and your body will thank you for it!

Thanks for a terrific retreat where mindfulness was evident in all aspects of the retreat; in movement, during meals, food preparation and the workshops which gave us more tools and food for thought to take away and expand our awareness for a mindfulness life practise.

Company and accommodation was just beautiful and provided in a caring, nurturing and safe environment.

Daniel you are a terrific spiritual teacher and your gratitude shines through and inspires all of us.

Thank you for a great experience.

Thank you for a truly amazing and relaxing experience of total nourishment of the mind, body and soul. It was total bliss to get away for a weekend and focus on myself and learn about mindfulness through Daniel’s beautiful presence and teachings.
Shiho’s soothing presence and energy was lovely and the massage I experienced was very nurturing and healing.
The retreat venue was perfect and the surroundings were very peaceful and nurturing for the soul to unwind and experience “being in the moment”.

So happy that I met Daniel! Within a few seconds he gave me so much more information compared to all the doctors I have talked to before. He certainly knows what he is talking about and he is very motivated to help people. Besides that he made me learn a lot about myself, which is fantastic. A very inspiring and knowledgeable person who looks further to give the best advice and help where needed. Much appreciated, thank you!

I had never done anything like this before and did not know what to expect. I was hoping that I would learn how to meditate, do some yoga and perhaps some new cooking skills. I was blown away by the whole experience, learning how to do mindful meditation has changed my life. Learning some yoga has inspired me to practice and learn more yoga. The cooking class has given me a confidence to try new things. Meeting and sharing the experience with people from all over the world was totally amazing. Daniel and Nik did such an awesome job of arranging all the practice sessions, workshops and other activities. They are so genuinely honest, kind and sincere. I am so happy and grateful for meeting them I will totally being doing another retreat with them.

The Koh Samui Retreat with Daniel was an eye opener for me. I experienced true mind and body relaxation, then experienced the rise of my inner tension and learnt and practiced how to reduce this tension. Great value! Heinz 52yo

“I knew the weekend would be good but it far surpassed that and was really amazing. The level of warmth that the two of you generate is incredible. The depth of your knowledge passed over in such a caring and loving way, not making anyone feel inferior for not getting it straight away was exceptional. It makes me very happy that you two are out there in the world passing on your wonderful karma to people in such a beautiful way. I will never forget my first retreat thankyou and my aim hopefully will be to attend 2 a year if possible.  Anyway take care God Bless  Happy heart happy life

The difference now is, I feel I have the fuel, patience & presence to attend & engage & enjoy the slow moments in between the rush that is life of a working mum. I wanted to thank you both for the nurturing, patience, warmth & heart that was shared this weekend. No detail was left unturned & it was these small touches that made the retreat so unique, so moving & has helped me shift! Everything from the accommodation, to personalized welcome notes, recipe books, perfumes, green smoothies on waking & impressive banquets!  I think I am noticing myself more & have an acute awareness around moments of mindfulness & moments of ‘autopilot’. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, your teachings, your attitude & passion with me. It was a real treat to be looked after (especially when feeling unwell).  It was such a privilege to have met you both & to have had 2 days of time to nurture me.

With warmth & kindness,

2013 Wellness retreats
2014-10-25 12.27.56

The purpose of this retreat was to learn to use the skills of mindfulness to restore your sense of balance and equanimity. Help you to change the way you think therefore change your life…

THE DETOX PERIOD “When you refrain from habitual thoughts and behavior, the uncomfortable feelings will still be there. They don’t magically disappear. Over the years, I’ve come to call resting with the discomfort “the detox period,” because when you don’t act on your habitual patterns, it’s like giving up an addiction. You’re left with the feelings you were trying to escape. The practice is to make a wholehearted relationship with that.”
